Anonymous Photos Taken 15 Minutes Prior to Ottawa Shooting

An apparent eyewitness who works at the Parliament Building tells his/her account of events unfolding under his/her office window.

View from Parliament Building, 9:30 AM

“I’m a legislative assistant, Here is the view outside my office at 9:30 AM, (about 15 minutes before the ‘crazed’ gunman). Just a shit ton of cops hanging out by west block for no reason.”

“I know two things they aren’t telling the press/public. Hopefully, you dipshits will take this seriously because my career is on the line.”

“If you see/hear that a legislative assistant died, had an accident, committed suicide whatever I’d like to say for the record that I’ve never wanted to kill myself. I take my job serious, but I ask honest questions.”

“Wednesday’s there are events hosted at parliament, and security is slack. There was no need for all these police at parliament this morning pre-shooting incident. Nobody (pm and opposition leaders excluded) of great significance was scheduled for today.”

“Further, blowing up the west end’s transmitter should just make people angry, not dependent on the government. I feel like if we don’t stand up right now, we will be baited into losing everything because of ISIS.”

Assuming the photographer is telling the truth, these photos were clearly taken from across the street from Parliament Hill. The location of the photographer seems to be the former US Embassy building. It hasn’t been the US Embassy since before 9/11, so the question is what is that building used for now? Would a “legislative assistant” even be working in that building? That’s the big question.

  2. RhinoB says:

Wasn’t this a unique time in parliament? So the question is, have they had this kind of presence in the past during similar situations where the buildings are full?

    • Paul says:

The general time period was extremely significant, as Bill C-13 was quietly passed only one day earlier creating a warrantless surveillance state in Canada. Maybe the shooting was intended to distract people from that?

Also, the Georgia guidestones “2014” block pinpointed October 22-24 (the exact day is dependent on which interpretation you subscribe to) so many of us were completely expecting just such an event.

For those spewing Faux news…Legislative Assistant does jive … it’s a generalized term:

As a longtime Ottawa resident I have two things to say about these photos: there is almost always an RCMP presence in front of the Parliament buildings. I don’t recall ever being there and not seeing a couple of RCMP cruisers. However, I do nit recall ever seeing that strong an RCMP presence. 6 or 7 police vehicles in front of the center block? That I have never seen. If those photos were legitimately taken 15 minutes before the shooting, it proves the police knew something was going to happen that morning. Additionally, no one but CNN mentioned the military drills being carried out in the precise area of the shootings on that same morning. That’s pretty suspicious, no?

    • Robert B. says:

Just a quick clarification on what I said. On occasions in which a significant event is happening on Parliament hill, that many police vehicles (or more) would certainly be present. For example, in 1992 I saw at least that many RCMP cruisers there because Queen Elizabeth was visiting parliament for the day. But THIS was a quiet Wednesday morning and parliament wasn’t even in session; a few MPs were there for meetings but that is hardly significant in any way. So why the big police presence? Just a coincidence? There was also a major power outage in Ottawa that day and cell service across the city was down (that’s what the legislative assistant who took these photos is talking about when he/she said “blowing up the west end’s transmitter”). Anyone investigating what really happened needs to look at these things. And I already mentioned the military drills. Wake up canada.

  5. Mark JOnes says:

How do we know for certain the pictures were taken on the day of the shooting?

    • Bob says:

Exactly. Look everyone who lives in Ottawa knows that the peace tower has a clock, all he had to do was take a pic of that to prove his case and turn on his camera’s date stamp. Also, being an admin assistant doesn’t mean he has access to government secrets, because all political parties have assistants to an MP(Member of Parliamenent). There was no bomb, my brother lives in Barhaven and would have noticed police cordoning off such an event. The overall political situation in Ottawa is such that the NDP (socialists) have a real hate on for the Harper government, and even make up stories to fulfil their own agenda, which is government taxing the shit of out businesses.

      • Neil says:

It’s easy to say that now, but he/she did not know what was about to happen. It’s not like the person taking that pic thought “Hey, I reckon there’s going to be a shooting here about 15 mins from now, so why are they here so early. I know, I’ll take a pic of the clock tower to prove they were here 15 mins early” Come on, even Sherlock would have struggled to predict this one!

macdonlds is accurate, anonimity yet publishes pass??

  7. unanimous says:

nothing happens by chance all chances are planned. there are no events that occur in history without the knowledge of those who plan it in order to manipulate public perception. All wars are planned. All events are also planned.

I would be cautious and aware of traps to lure people into initial wild theories, effectively rendering any later truthful revelations as background noise to the news junkie public.

The language used the ‘Legislative Assst’ has raised my Spockian eyebrow…as well as the compatibility of the term anonymity with the publication of a serial numbered (easily traceable) Parliamentary Pass.

    • stevieb says:

Can you possibly rephrase that? It has my “Spockian eyebrow” fighting gravity…

      • macdonalddon says:

Basically, the language used by the ‘Legislative Assst’ doesn’t jive with the job description…and may be an attempt to discredit any future uncovering of actual fact.
